What is a storefront?

A storefront is the ordering portal within the Prindustry Platform: a webshop interface where users can view, customize, and order print products. Each storefront is connected to the central management system, allowing you to manage multiple storefronts from one place.

For each storefront, you configure a unique URL, branding, and user group. You also choose which features are enabled, such as modules for quote requests, stock management, or an editor that lets users personalize print materials.

Storefronts are flexible ordering portals that you configure per customer, target group, or location — each with its own selection of products, pricing, user permissions, and branding. They are suitable for both B2B and B2C and can be set up with or without a login. This allows you to easily tailor each environment to your audience and preferred ordering process.

Each storefront supports self-service. Users place orders independently, while you, as the administrator, stay in control of the assortment, permissions, supplier selection, and design. This way, you centrally decide which producers to work with and maintain control over margins, order flows, and procurement agreements. While a storefront can already serve as a personalized ordering portal for customers, a Brand Portal takes it a step further. It’s an advanced customer environment with login access, where users can manage, edit, and order their own communication materials.
